I’ve been in a LOT of pain recently (see “Why Today is a Bad Health Day“). I thought it was from the nerve massages and being far too busy, but now I don’t think so. I’m still in a lot of pain, and my appointment with Joleen on Monday was really gentle, and I slept most of yesterday.
Yesterday, I had to take a full metaxalone and a full Tramadol. I hate how they make me feel after a few hours, but I just couldn’t handle the deep muscle aches anymore… The kind of aches that feel as though your bones are bruised. (I have bruised bones before, and the feeling is almost identical.)
Today, I woke up in pain. Tons of pain. But, I have stuff to do. Stuff that won’t let me take a Tramadol or metaxalone. Once class is over, however, you can bet I’ll be taking one of them… Or both.
Why the pain? I’m pretty sure it’s the word weather we’ve been having. It was in the 50s for several days (°F), and yesterday it dropped below freezing and it was 18°F when I left the house this morning.
I don’t know which part of the shifting weather hurts me – pressure, temperature, etc – but I know it hurts!
Oh well. Maybe me being in pain will take any and all bad luck away from my grandfather.
