Probably Not Good

I’ve been having odd neurological symptoms as of late:menschliches nervensystem

  • I’m still getting regular headaches, almost daily. Some of them are rather intense, but I’m not sure if the others are low intensity or if I got used to them.
  • My arm pain is still really intense still… but a little tiny bit better because I’ve been taking Tramadol regularly. I can’t stand nerve pain like that. Unfortunately, my left arm has started to get a lot of the same symptoms (tingling, numbness, elbow pain, and neural tension). At least the left arm isn’t as intense as the right. (arm 1, 2, 3)
  • My nausea seems to be getting worse. I don’t know if that is from my nervous system or something else. (nausea 1, 2, 3)
  • The thoracic vertebra (the ones at the ribs) pop constantly, and painfully. I think my spine is compressing for some reason.
  • Muscle weakness is getting a lot worse for some reason. I’m exercising a bit more, but it feels like I’ve been exercising less.
  • My muscles burn every time I stretch them. Even if I stretch them after sitting on the couch or lying down. I don’t know why my muscles are always burning like this when I stretch them.
  • Dizziness is coming back slightly, though my cardiologist’s MA thinks it might be from my body adjusting to the fact that my resting heart rate is now in the upper 60s now that it’s controlled.

As you can see, troublesome. I have no idea why these things have started up.

Today was the first day in over a year that I have had a full neural meltdown in the middle of the day. Normally I get them late at night when I’m exhausted, but today was right after my first class and was so bad I needed to go home.

beinglatini-wordpress-com_I was sitting in class, and suddenly my leg muscles all started to hurt badly. They were very sore, but I thought some of it was probably from Pilates yesterday (we did a lot of leg stuff). Then, I got the horrible uber restless muscle feeling, all over my body. For those of you that don’t know, it’s almost like you have hundreds of ants running around under your skin, and it causes a compulsion to move around. Literally the only way to get any relief at all is to move, but that doesn’t really help. Then, I started to feel like I couldn’t breathe too well, and I started yawning like crazy. I knew I was breathing just fine, but my brain seemed to think I wasn’t. My hips were hurting like crazy. I could feel every hair on my head, and it was starting to give me a headache. When I stood up, I realized I could feel pretty much every inch of skin and hair on my body. I also got EXTREMELY tired. I decided it was much safer for me to just get myself home.

Thankfully, taking a Tramadol and some Benadryl (there was a lot of itchiness so I was hoping it would help) seems to have helped a bit. My nervous system seems to have calmed down a little. I’m hoping that when the Tramadol starts to wear off that the craziness doesn’t start back up, but I brought the bottle downstairs with me just in case.

At least the weather isn’t being crazy. It’s crazy for February, since it’s currently 73°F on my porch (full sun), but it’s not doing any sudden shifts. Thankfully, I don’t have to deal with my weather symptoms while dealing with all these other things.

  1. That almost sounds like a full-bodied RLS…I take Advil for mine and it helps…also thinking it was some nutrient deficiency for some reason. I also find it less frequent if I stretch daily.

    Hope you get some relief!
