A Little Scared and A Lot Worried

I just got back from my Monday appointment with Joleen. I finally decided, after the scary emotional swings this weekend, to fully disclose the full pain in my arm (I hadn’t really been hiding it consciously, I think I was mostly lying to myself). There were several episodes this weekend where the pain in my arm got so bad it pushed me to tears.

After talking with Joleen, and explaining everything, she seemed worried. I don’t like when my doctors get nervous. But, she is right. Normally, when my body randomly acts up, it just takes a few weeks to get it back into sync again. My arm pain came out of no where. I didn’t do anything, and it suddenly was killing me. We’ve been stretching my nerves, trying to release the tension, and rubbing out the knots for several weeks… and we haven’t made any progress.

If anything, I seem to be slowly getting worse…

I Need Your Feedback!

Sitting down to write, and I’m not sure what to write about. There are several things I want to write about, I just don’t have the time to plan out all of them. I am planning on doing a “how to survive an 18 hour road trip with POTS, fibro, and JHS” post soon. I haven’t gotten to plan it out yet, unfortunately, and I just don’t have the time today. Is that something you would be interested in reading? (Please comment below to tell me.)

The Space to Write

When talking about where and how I write, my answer is really two-fold: what I do now, and what I want to do sometimes in the near future.

Currently, I write on my couch. I either sit or lie on the end next to my plants, or I sit on the chaise. I have to be comfortable. Well, I prefer to be comfortable. Right now I spend so much time in doctors’ waiting rooms that I’ve gotten quite good at writing just about anywhere.

The Ear Saga Continues -&- Crazy Allergies -&- Functional Medication

So, as I mentioned earlier: I have another ear infection. Yes, another one. Yes, the same ear that was just operated on. Yes, the same ear that has pretty much been non-stop infected since mid-March. Yes, I’m about to rip it off and throw it out the door and make it fend for itself.

Woh! Record Views!!!

I don’t know what I did, other than publish one post in the late afternoon, but you guys went completely bonkers yesterday! Bonkers in a very good way 🙂 I ended up with 42 total views (yes, I realize that several of you probably get several times that many on average, but I’m a newbie). My previous record was 33. I’m glad that people are reading my blog, and liking what I’m writing. If there is specific content that you’d like to see (or see more of), let me know in the comments!

I’m going to be starting Blogging 101 through Blogging U (from “The Daily Post”) on Monday. Expect some changes and “assignments” to show up on my blog as a result! Maybe someday soon I’ll look at this post and giggle about “how low” the view count was when I got this excited… I suppose we shall see!
